LICOPID® 1 mg: DOSING SCHEDULE FOR ADULTS

Indications for Use

Prevention and reduction of seasonal incidence of acute respiratory diseases and frequency of exacerbations of chronic diseases of ENT organs, upper and lower respiratory tract

1 mg 3 times a day, sublingual, for 10 days

Chronic infections of respiratory tract

2 mg once a day, sublingual, for 10 days

Purulent skin and soft tissue infections, including postsurgical infections (excluding severe forms)

2 mg 2-3 times a day, sublingual, for 10 days

4-6 mg

Activation of herpes virus infection (mild form, regardless localization of clinical manifestations, excluding herpetic lesions of the eyes)

Herpetic eye disease (ophthalmic herpes)

10 mg 2 times a day for 3 days and repeat the course of treatment after a 3-day break interval

Psoriasis (excluding psoriatic arthritis, severe forms and gross lesions)

10-20 mg once a day for 10 days followed by 5 doses that should be administered as a 10-20 mg dose taken once every other day.

* Infection caused by HSV-1,2, cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus (including early convalescence period after infectious mononucleosis).

** Licopid 10 mg should be administered with caution in elderly patients (above 65 years old), strictly under medical supervision. For the elderly patients, it is recommended to start therapy with the half doses (1/2 of the therapeutic dose) and to increase the dose of the drug up to the required therapeutic dose if no side effects occur.
